Saturday morning my two dear friends picked me up and we went to the Survey Cafe. This is my new favorite place. They make THE BEST caramel macchiato that I have ever had. This cafe uses all eco friendly cups and to-go packaging made from corn. They feature organic shade grown coffee and espresso. The cafe is in a historic house in historic Bonita Springs.
This morning I stopped in on the way to work for a muffin and a macchiato (the caffeine hit me hard! I am shaking from it! But i'm also being very productive at work!) I even ordered a veggie wrap for lunch that i'm going to dig in to in a few minutes here. Yum!

On Saturday I went to a local resort to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a great time sitting by the pool, going out to dinner, having a fashion show at one of the stores, and swimming at mid-night. On sunday afternoon we experienced true Florida. We were out by the sunny pool and we saw some dark clouds start to form. 10 minutes later it was as if a category 2 hurricane had hit. The wind was howling and the rain was coming down in horizontal sheets. We couldn't get inside fast enough! Nor could we open the door. So we sat inside and waited for the storm to calm down and then we headed home. Oh blessed Florida weather.
One more quick story. I stopped in to Marshals to grab a few things after work last night. I ended up shopping for about 1/2 hour and then I think i spent another 1/2 hour in line. Once I finally got up to the cashier I reached into my purse to find my wallet missing. Gar. It was thankfully at home, so no worries there. Just a little frustrating.
But today is wonderful. Yoga to wake me up, caramel macchiato and muffin from the cafe, and some Jesus time at work. It's a good day.
